What is the difference between WOLLEN and MÖCHTEN? Can you give any examples? Thank you!

First of all, there is no verb “möchten.” “Möchten” is the first and third person plural subjunctive II of mögen.

The difference is that the latter is more polite.

“Ich will…” means “I want…”

“Ich möchte…” means “I’d like…”
