Question

What does "Untouchable" mean?

Yuko Suzuki Yuko Suzuki (0) on 15/05/14

I watched a French movie named "Untouchable" in English. It was really good and I enjoyed it very much. Japanese subtitle is "Saikyou no Futari; The Strongest Pair." I don't know why English subtitle is "Untouchable."

I will be grateful for any help you can provide.

harry terrafrank, thank you very much for your answer.

I wonder if you saw the movie, does it mean the position of Doris(a poor man who takes care of a disabled man) is untouchable?

A dictionary defines it; adj. in such a strong position as to be unaffected by anything or unable to be punished.

Thanks from my side for your thought-provoking good question as an
