Question

Saying "Good try!" or "You did it!" in Japanese

I have no idea how to tell Japanese friends "good try" or "you did it."

Everything I've tried gets a response like it was unnatural.

How do native Japanese speakers say these phrases? Are there any other cultural notes you would add?

1

yoku ganbarimashita

or

yoku ganbatta!

Yoku dekimashita = well done!

yatta! = you did it!
