Does anybody know any idioms that mean something like, "leading someone to a trap" ?

In Brazilian Portuguese we have an expression called "Cheiro do queijo" which means "leading someone to a trap" if somebody knows this expression, could you please tell me which one is equivalent to another one in English?

I don't think it's exactly what you're looking for, but "[something] smells fishy" could be used in similar situations.

It means something seems suspicious. So if someone was trying to sell me something on the street for a price that was too good to be true, I might think, "This doesn't feel right. It smells fishy to me..."

well, that is not exactly what I was looking for, but it's a very interesting idiom and I think I can apply it in what i need. Thanks anyway.
