How do i say things like 'how many', 'how tall', 'how long', and 'how far' in Japanese?

For example,

How many people have you seen today?

How tall are you?

How long will it take for you to get here?

How far away is Tokyo from Hakuba?

Hi Jeremy, We have a very convenient word for it: "Dono kurai" (with some variations, "Dore kurai" "Dore hodo"); it can be used for asking the height, duration, distance, weight, temperature and so on. How tall are you? -> Shinchou wa dono kurai? (身長はどのくらい?) How long will it take for you to get here? -> Sokomade, dono kurai kakaru? (そこまで、どのくらいかかる?) How far away is Tokyo from Hakuba? -> Hakuba kara Tokyo made, Dono kurai? (白馬から東京まで、どのくらい?) "dono kurai" can be replaced with "dore kurai" or "Dore hodo". Dore hodo sounds just slightly more formal to me.
